The 11th China Law and Economics Forum was successfully held in Shandong university from June 29-June 30, 2013. Professor Shaoan Huang, dean of CER Shandong University, Professor Jinchuan Shi, dean of school of economics Zhejiang University and Professor Wang Cheng, editorial director of "economic research", attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The forum was presided over by Professor Shaoan Huang.
After the opening ceremony, Professor Cheng Wang took charge of the subject report. Baosheng Zhang, vice President of China University of political science and law, Zhiyong Liu, Professor of American Indiana State University, Tao Sun, associate professor of CER Shandong University, David Broadstock, Professor from British Surrey University, Xuebing Dong, Professor of school of economics Zhejiang University, Shenglan Li, Professor of Lingnan college Sun Yat-sen University and Jian Wei, Professor of CER Shandong University, respectively gave the keynote address on their research results.
On the afternoon of June 29, all delegates were divided into four groups: theoretical basis of law and economics, law and economics analysis of government, law and economics analysis of enterprise and law and economics analysis of individual and family. Delegates in the four groups respectively introduced their latest research results and in-depth discussed the topics.
On the morning of June 30, the closing ceremony was presided over by Professor Jinchuan Shi and the forum concluded successfully in applause.
The forum provides a good platform for researchers of law and economics. As an emerging interdisciplinary field, law and economics get attentions of more and more scholars, which promote the vigorous development of law and economics.
