From Nov. 22, 2011 to Nov. 23.2011, an postgraduate academic forum was held by the Center for Economic Research Shandong University and Central University of Finance and Economics at Run Run Shaw Science building, room 513 and 501. This forum offered a precious opportunity for students to learn from each other and make progress together.
This activity was held on Nov. 22, 2011 (afternoon and night) and Nov. 23, 2011 (morning). Students from two universities reported on their theses, all teachers and students jointly discuss and comment on theses. The first section of the activity was hosted and commented by Mr. Jilin Wu. Students presented detailed reports on the topic of “exit”, “appeal” and Motivate Mechanism of doctor behavior, the impact of Cognitive Bias on the financial consumer-Taking retail financial products as an example, the selection and analysis for regional financial cooperation of Wuhan metropolis circle, empirical analysis for the wealth effect in stock market on consumer demand in Wuhan. The second section was hosted by Mr. Zheng Yang, the topics for this section include: factors that influence the long term gold prices, population pressures, financial pressures and the reform of property rights in China, the impact of credit risk transfer on financial stability. Because of the intersect holdings of two sector model, Mr. Zheng Yang carefully commented on the theses for students which should be improved. The last section was hosted by Mr. Jinfeng Zhang, and the topics covered of Shortage of migrant workers, Blue Barriers, Modern network technology and the decision of enterprise boundary, financial support to agriculture and the income gap between urban and rural areas, the influence of medical insurance on the utilization for elderly health care.
This forum contained not only a wonderful content but also an intense discussion. It has provided a clearly direction for students to make further study and research.
