As one of the academic activities celebrating SDUCER’s ten years’ anniversary, China’s Annual Meeting for Institutional Economics of 2006 was hosted by SDUCER from June 10 to June 11 at Shandong University. More than 100 scholars from famous universities and institutes attended the meeting. Professor Shan’an Huang, Professor Hong Sheng and many students from SDUCER took part in discussion throughout the meeting.

China’s Annual Meeting for Institutional Economics was initiated jointly by China Center for Economic Research of Peking University, Center for Economic Research of Shandong University (SDUCER), School of Economics of Zhejiang University, China Center for Economic Research of Fudan University and scholars from Chinese Academy of Social Science in 2001. It has successfully held for six times till now. This year’s meeting received more than 210 papers, the highest number ever reached by past meetings. Among those papers 40 were from Shandong University, and among six prize-winning papers two were from Shandong University.
