“SDU Economics Forum” was held again on Nov. 20th 2006. Under the invitation of Professor Shaoan Huang, four young economic scholars, Doctor Luming, Doctor Chenzhao, Doctor Yongqin Wang, and Doctor Zonglai Kou from FDU, came to SDU and assembled with part if young teachers and doctors of SDUCER to exchange the latest research achievement, and discuss the front problems of economics. Professor Shaoan Huang, the dean of SDUCER, presented the meeting and made comments on theme speeches and expressed his compliments to all the young scholars sincerely.
Firstly Doctor Luming elucidated correlation between Chinese Economy Open-door Policy and Domestic Market Integration after Chinese Reform and Opening with the method of research on practical cases; through “pocket game theory”, Chenzhao explained due to asymmetric information, auction institution can not tackle the problem of state-owned capital draining in the process of transferring state-owned capital; Doctor Zonglai Kou through building models, illustrated the conditions of scientific and technical inventions’ patent and the issue of sifting; Doctor Yongqin Wang discussed optimum ownership arrangement of public products provision, such as hospitals and education in terms of social heterogeneity and interaction between public and private. Doctor Yanru Guo from SDUCER also made a lecture on “Transaction Cost, Fiscal Separate Rights and Huge Country Developing Passage of China-----New Point of View on Institutional Economics”.
Both sides had a heated discussion on the content of lectures. The atmosphere of the whole meeting was active and lively, and all participants exchanged with each other deeply and exhibited academic talent of these young scholars, which plays an exemplary role on postgraduates and deepens the friendship between scholars of two universities.
