On June 20, Professor Christopher Findlay, the dean of the school of economics, University of Adelaide, and Mr. Sandy McConachy, head of the University’s projects in China, visited SDUCER. Professor Shaoan Huang, the dean of SDUCER, and Professor Fengrong Wang, assistant of the dean, met the guests and discussed with them about future cooperation of the two institutions.
Professor Huang and Professor Findlay introduced each institution’s main research fields, featured branch of study and the current situation of academic communication. During the talks, the two sides found that their study are strongly complementary, and both of them hope to establish academic cooperation on the basis of deepened mutual understanding. The two sides also reached cooperation agreements on projects such as jointly training Ph.D. students, jointly training graduate students through 1+1 double degree program and jointly setting up Behavioral Economics laboratory. Professor Findlay warmly invited scholars of SDUCER to visit University of Adelaide for further communication. The guests also sang high praise for SDUCER’s research and training program.
