From July 27 to July 29, 2007, the Chinese Economist Society’s 2007 annual meeting was held in Changsha, Hunan province. Dr. Shengmin Sun, Dr. Yanru Guo and Ph.D. students Youcai Yang, Haiyi Zhao, and Weiguo Zhang of SDUCER presented academic report to the meeting. They also engaged in heated discussion in depth with scholars from mainland and oversea. Professor Shaoan Huang hosted a seminar featured “institutional economics and China’s institutional reforming” during the meeting.
